Kiruna Wagon is hiring: Sales-oriented Vice Managing Director

Kiruna Wagon develops and manufactures rail transport solutions for iron ore and other heavy bulk materials. Through the production of tailor-made wagons and unloading stations to world-leading customers, we have established ourselves as a reliable supplier of cost-effective transport technology to the modern mining industry.

We are now looking for a dedicated and saled-oriented Project Manager, also Vice Managing Director, who wants to be involved in developing an exciting growth company towards an international market.

About the role
As Vice Managing Director you are a key member of our team and will be project managing the development and production of our world-leading ore and heavy dry bulk rail wagons.

Together with the company’s Managing Director, you will assume an international sales responsibility and conduct proactive sales work directed at mines and transport companies worldwide. The work involves some travel, both in Sweden and abroad.

You will begin your employment with an introduction adapted to your previous experience in production and its peripheral functions.

Your profile
We are looking for an organisational and driven person with experience from managing production projects in rail transport or series production of other types of heavy duty vehicles.

To be successful in this role, you must have a talent for identifying business opportunities. Knowledge in logistics and economics and a professional commitment to sustainability are important merits that make you an attractive candidate. We value a humble leadership style and an ability to establish and sustain customer and partner relationships. Ideally, you are experienced in Lean production and interested in working according to these principles.

The role requires:

  • Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering.
  • Project management experience in the production of heavy transport solutions.
  • Sales experience in a leading position in the industry or transport sector.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English.
  • Category B driving license.
