Kiruna Wagon in study of rail bound gas transportations

Svenskt Gastekniskt Centrum (Swedish Center for Gas Tehnology) has completed a report on moving large parts of the gas transportation from trucks to railway. All in order to raise safety and lower environmental impact. Kiruna Wagon contributed with railway expertise and wagon concepts for intermodal gas transportation. The solution presented by Kiruna Wagon is a modularised system built on a low cost, low tare chassis equipped with a load carrier designed for swift change out of gas containers.
