We are approaching the end of another year filled with development, maintenance, and innovative technical solutions for railborne freight transport.
As we at Kiruna Wagon sum up our 2025, we also take the opportunity to look ahead to new challenges and exciting collaborations.
During the year, we continued our collaboration with Amsted Rail on LKAB’s bottom-dumping wagon F050 – a project where we have had the privilege of supporting with technical improvements.
By enabling an increased axle load of 32.5 tonnes, the capacity has been strengthened by around 10%, equivalent to approximately 680 tonnes of additional cargo per train.
This capacity increase makes a noticeable difference and demonstrates how collaboration can contribute to more efficient and sustainable rail transport.
