Kiruna Wagon has appointed Mattias Gustafsson as its new Managing Director, following seven years in the company as Deputy Managing director and in several other key management roles. He succeeds Fredrik Kangas, who after 20 years is stepping down from the Managing Director position but will remain active in Kiruna Wagon, focusing on the company’s continued internationalisation and the technical development of its product portfolio.
Mattias Gustafsson has been part of Kiruna Wagon since 2018, serving among other roles as Head of Maintenance and contributing to major projects, including the digitalisation of maintenance processes for customer wagon fleets. His deep experience and long-standing commitment to the company make him a natural leader as he takes on the MD role.
