Kiruna Wagon is in an expansive phase and is now taking an important step in the company’s continued development by establishing a purchasing and quality department. Previously consisting of a single role, the department now comprises three people with a clear focus on structure, long-term planning, and more efficient logistics. Henrik Almqvist has been recruited as head of the new department and holds overall responsibility. Mattias Gustafsson appointed new Managing Director of Kiruna Wagon

Kiruna Wagon has appointed Mattias Gustafsson as its new Managing Director, following seven years in the company as Deputy Managing director and in several other key management roles. He succeeds Fredrik Kangas, who after 20 years is stepping down from the Managing Director position but will remain active in Kiruna Wagon, focusing on the company’s continued internationalisation and the technical development of its product portfolio.
