MassMin is one of the world's most important mining conferences. This year, it will be held in Kiruna from September 17-19 and is organized by LKAB in collaboration with Luleå University of Technology. Conference and networking for the mining industry will be in focus in Kiruna this fall. Kiruna Wagon celebrates 20 years during 2024. It has been two decades of an uncompromising promise to our customers: to provide wagons of higher quality and sustainability, and with better transport efficiency than our competitors can offer.  Our journey could have ended many years ago. For example, if we had compromised on quality and only competed on low CAPEX. Bland annat har teamet utvecklat prototypen för Side Dumper-vagnen som senare exporterades till Egypten och som sedermera fick stor betydelse för utvecklingen av specialvagnen Q60 för Trafikverket. Kiruna Wagon has signed agreement with Egyptian Tahawy Rail for development and licensed manufacturing of self-discharging Side Dumper wagons. Kiruna Wagon’s licensed partner in North Africa and Middle East, Tahawy Rail, has won the procurement from Egyptian National Railway (ENR) to deliver 300 self-discharging Side Dumper wagons. Serial production for Egyptian National Railways to commence

After completion of prototype development and testing, Kiruna Wagon is now ready to commence serial production of bottom doors for 76 grain wagons for Egyptian National Railways (ENR). The unloading design consists of a bottom-dumping solution with two doors on each side of the grain wagon. The two door pairs are opened individually, which makes it possible to empty the goods on either side at a time. Production report: Concentrate Wagon SA 36 for Boliden

We are now almost halfway through the serial production of 25 Concentrate Cagons SA 36 destined for Boliden. The production line for Concentrate Wagon SA is made up of 15 stations assigned to the manufacturing of frame, basket, bogie, roof, hatch and brake system. The welding work on this project is carried out according to the requirements of SS EN 15085-CP C2. After final assembly has been completed on the railway track, a new vehicle from Kiruna Wagon is set in motion.
